Mount Serapi Jungle Tracking

So long I din't update my blog again...
been busy teaching and marking everyday...
Finally got a chance to jungle tracking..
But was considered 'working' also..

Last Saturday, Me and some of the staffs at MasterSkill brought around 50 students jungle tracking at Mount Serapi, Kubah National Park..
Since that was an activity of the college, so it was not our personal trip or holiday..
This is why I said "was considered 'working' also.."

There are 2 parts of Mount Serapi..
First part was not really jungle tracking...
for me it was like normal walking but was more suffering if compare to the second part..
In first part, the road was perfectly built up but the slope was well-inclined...
A lot of energy needed to climb up the first part..
luckily I brought 100 plus and some chocolates as energy provider...=P

Second part was the way to go waterfall and it was really jungle tracking...
The jungle was 1.5 km long and estimated 1 hour needed to reach the waterfall...
the jungle was dark and really feel scary to walk in..
Me and another lecturer, Miss Jocelyn reached there alone...
we din't see any students and the leader of student affair (Miss Lilia) there..
we two dare not to walk into the jungle even though after called the Miss Lilia, and was quite sure that all the students and her were inside the jungle walking toward the waterfall...
Finally we two decided to wait the rest behind us to walk into the jungle together..

Finally they reached..
We rested at the pondok a short while before we walked into the jungle..

Lets snap a picture first before the tough jungle tracking XD

Lets go babe....^^

Lets share my feeling while walking into the jungle...
It was really scary and some more we received a massage from Miss Lilia that told us to be careful because got leeches inside...
anyway, slowly get used inside and the feeling of scare was faded...

The stairs inside the jungle...
some parts got stairs and small bridge..
some parts were all soils and watery..
many big ants and unknown worms...

The most unforgettable matter was the rain came very suddenly when we still inside the jungle...
the jungle was so long and we kept on checking on the meter which seem like we had walked a lot but actually only 50 meter far >.<
Some more raining, the soils were so wet and most of the ground flooded...
even I had brought umbrella but the rain was quite heavy...
and in the jungle, some parts the umbrella cannot get through..
so, still everyone including me who was with the umbrella were all wet...
(note: all the colleagues said I brought a complete set for jungle tracking XD...
Umbrella, hat, kabak, salt, etc...
I feel very funny =D)

I don't know how long we were inside the jungle but it was definitely more than 1 hour..
One of the student was sprained and this is why we took so long for the jungle tracking...

Finally, reached the waterfall!!! ^^

Walking to the waterfall just to take some pictures XD

happy!!! So syok!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having lunch and rest...
see the stones were very smooth and slippery...
I was fall down while walking up to the waterfall...

Cleaning after lunch...
don't pollute the waterfall...

Nice view of the waterfall^.^

There are a lot of pictures that I unable to get it from my colleague...
I will update this blog from time to time until I manage to get all the nice pictures ^.^
This trip, even though is considered working, need to take care of students...
But it was fun and unforgettable =)
